I had an amazing experience here. We had to come later in the evening around 7:20 and they were so kind enough to let us order still. We had our two very young daughters with us and they were so kind and patient with us. They recommended food that was very good and I would get it again! But I felt so welcome there from the staff and they seemed to enjoy our littles. It was great
This place is a hidden gem! We were visiting Botna Bend Park in Hancock, Iowa and were looking for a place to eat in Neola, Iowa; we found "The Buck Snort". The inside was very casual and inviting, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our kids ordered various things from the menu, but I had to go with the "Swamp Donkey". Very tasty! I would recommend this place to anyone. One of the best burgers I have had in quite sometime. In fact, IMHO, it was better than Stella's over in Bellevue, Neb.
People are always friendly here and will give their opinions when you aren't sure On what to get.
Unbeatable food i would recommend the brisket sandwich and the swamp donkey
It's got an unassuming exterior, but inside it's cozy, with Pizza Ranch style decor, and a good grille-style menu. Coke products. Good burger and fries, with thick bacon! The Boom Boom Chicken Sandwich was amazing!
DELICIOUS swamp donkey burger with HOMEMADE CHIPS!!! Made the slight detour to this place from the Omaha/Council Bluffs area while on the way to the Bridges of Madison County. (This is our 3rd time to the Bridges and 2nd time to Buck Snort.)
